Friends of NERF Spotlight series: Bartec are a Gold Friend of NERF
At Bartec, we understand that effective public services are vital for a high quality of life. We are committed to connecting citizens with the services they rely on, and our expertise in service design, system integration, and process improvement allows us to help local authorities deliver better waste management services at a lower cost.

Our innovative software solution empowers local authorities to streamline their operations with a unified platform. This platform automates tasks such as route planning and vehicle tracking, enabling efficient resource allocation and reduced operational costs. Furthermore, the platform facilitates the collection and analysis of vast amounts of data, providing valuable insights into waste generation patterns and disposal methods. These insights empower data-driven decision-making and identify areas for improvement, such as optimising collection routes and identifying hotspots for waste reduction.
Beyond operational efficiency, our software prioritises safety and environmental sustainability. Real-time vehicle and personnel tracking enhances safety, while route optimisation minimises fuel consumption and contributes to a greener environment. Our platform also supports environmental sustainability by enabling the tracking of recycling and waste diversion rates, contributing to the development of a circular economy.
We believe in continuous innovation and ensure our software adapts to the evolving needs of our clients. With Bartec, local authorities can experience a smarter way to manage waste, unlock new opportunities for growth, and ultimately provide a higher level of service to their residents.
